En route, you’ll traverse the Great Rift Valley Escarpment, where a pause will allow for capturing stunning photographs and taking in the panoramic vistas of the Escarpment, spanning from the Middle East in the north to Mozambique in the south. This geologically active area features volcanoes, hot springs, and geysers. Upon arrival at the park, there will be time for check-in and lunch. You may choose to relax with a siesta or freshen up before embarking on an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. Renowned for its migratory flamingoes and boasting around 350 other bird species, the park is also a sanctuary for the endangered black and white rhino species.
Your day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at the Lodge.

Start your day with an early morning breakfast, followed by checking out from Lake Nakuru to head towards Masai Mara, a scenic 5-hour drive. Enjoy en route game drives through Lake Nakuru National Park, adding an extra layer of adventure to your journey. Upon arrival at Masai Mara, you’ll have time for check-in and a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, set off on a thrilling game drive across Masai Mara until sunset. This renowned national reserve boasts a mesmerizing array of wild and rugged landscapes, along with warm and hospitable people, and a captivating diversity of wildlife, both big and small. The highlight of the reserve is undoubtedly the epic Great Wildebeest Migration, which sees over 1.5 million wildebeests crossing its vast savannahs from July to October each year. Later, return to the camp for a delightful dinner and your overnight stay.
Destination: Masai Mara National Reserve
Accommodation: Zebra Plains Mara Camp
Meal plan: Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After breakfast, we embark on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch provided. The reserve is renowned for its black-maned lions and abundant resident wildlife, and it’s one of the few places where you can spot the Big Five during a morning game drive. Many cheetahs in the reserve are so accustomed to vehicles that they often seek shade beneath them and occasionally climb onto the roofs for a better view of potential prey. Bird enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that almost 500 species have been recorded here, including 16 species of eagles, numerous hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 species of bustards (including the Kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds.
Destination: Serengeti National Park
Accommodation: Zebra Plains Mara Camp
Meal plan: Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Enjoy an early morning breakfast, check out with lunch boxes, and then proceed to the Tanzanian border post at Isebania, where you will meet our Tanzanian liaison for your transfer to the Serengeti. Please ensure you have a valid visa to enter Tanzania, as a visa application arrival can cost you a lot of time. After clearing at the Kenya/Tanzania border of Isebania, you’ll exchange your vehicle after immigration formalities. The driving itself, although long, is spectacular. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in the local language, “endless plains”. It is the home of the Great Migration and to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and all kinds of antelopes. You will check in at the Embalakai Camp in the evening.
Destination: Serengeti National Park
Accommodation: Embalakai Authentic Camps
Meal plan: Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
As you crest the hillside, the vast Serengeti unfolds before you, stretching as far as the eye can see. Serengeti, meaning “endless plains” in Kiswahili, spans 6,900 square miles (18,000 square km) and is home to over two million large animals, including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles. Large predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are drawn to the area by the abundance of prey migrating throughout the park. Numerous smaller animals, including rock hyraxes, bat-eared foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and African hares, also inhabit this diverse ecosystem, along with nearly 500 species of birds.
You’ll enjoy an afternoon game drive en route to the campsite. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a public campsite or private tented camp/lodge.
Destination: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Accommodation: Embalakai Authentic Camps
Meal plan: Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Breakfast at your camp / or lodge then we check out and head out for one more last game drive in the Serengeti. You will explore the Seronera River Valley rich in wildlife and bird life or anywhere else in the Serengeti as per your professional safari guide’s guidance.
Your safari guide as usual will be in constant contact with other guides around through the VHF high-frequency radios fitted in our safari cars so he will have a better idea of the best places to explore.
Later in the afternoon you will drive back to the Ngorongoro Conservation area and check in at a lodge for dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight at a nice mid-range lodge at Karatu like Marera Valley Lodge or Country Lodge at Karatu nearby. All meals included.
Accommodation: Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp
Meal : Breakfast, Lunch , Dinner
Breakfast at your lodge you will descend early into the Crater floor for game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater.
The earlier you descend to the Crater floor so you may descend after breakfast or even with a packed breakfast to be at the Crater floor as early as you can and better your chances of seeing the rare animals like Black Rhinos with a little luck. Spend the better part of the morning exploring the Ngorongoro Crater until lunchtime.
Ngorongoro Crater with its 600 to 650-meter-high walls is like a natural zoo with the highest concentration of wild animals and it is here where you can even spot the Big Five even in one day if lucky enough.
After picnic lunch which you will most likely take at the hippo poolside designated picnic site, you will drive up the Crater rim and out of the Conservation area. You will return to Arusha where you will arrive later in the afternoon.
